A few events to remember :
National holiday on the 14th of July :
The concept : Commemoration, fireworks, parades and shows (animations throughout the city of Annecy).
Duration : one day (14th of July)
How to get there ? By bike, on foot, by free bus (www.sibra.fr), by car.
Where ? The traditional taking up of arms will take place on the Pâquier at 11 am. The troops will then parade along the Avenue d’Albigny. Entertainment in Annecy (on the Pâquier and in the Jardin de l’Europe from early afternoon). The traditional fireworks display is scheduled for 22:30. After the fireworks, there will be a big dance on the Pâquier stage.

“La friche des Rails” :
The concept: Throughout the summer, the town of Annecy offers initiation workshops in world dances and music, tales from other lands, concerts, sound aperitifs and festive balls. The whole programme has been put together by the town and local associations to be shared with family and friends.
Duration : All summer (Monday to 21:00)

Open air cinema:
The concept: Lying on the grass or in a deckchair, sitting comfortably on your camping seats, with your family, your partner, alone or with friends… The 7th art invites you to Annecy and its surroundings throughout the summer.
Duration : All summer
Where ? The films will be shown in the four corners of the Annecy region, from the Balmont school in Seynod to the Mas des Jacobins in Pringy, via Vieugy, the Cercle de l’eau in Cran-Gevrier, Meythet and the park in Albigny.

“Annecy Paysages” :
The concept : Let yourself be surprised by 35 works of Annecy landscapes, a journey of artistic and landscape installations.
Duration : All summer
How to get there ?
Thanks to the new Annecy Landscapes application, you can create your own route, collect the works and discover the city in a different way.
The application is available on the App Store and the Google Store.
Don’t forget to rent a bike for the duration of the festival to go from one work to another.

We recommend that you download the Annecy landscapes application from Play Store and App Store. This app will give you access to the presentation of each work, several itineraries and an interactive tool to share your experience.

Ah! la belle saison
The concept : To bring together four major events that are well known to the inhabitants of the region: Le Grand Bain, Meythet la Musique, the Albigny stages and the Parc Fauré concerts. To offer a programme of more than twenty-five free shows and concerts for the whole family throughout the summer (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in the Annecy area.
Durée : From 14 June to 28 July 2022

The Thiou Brunch
The concept : Every Sunday, around a DJ, you will find a restoration with local partners, a refreshment bar run by an association, as well as discovery sessions of yoga from 11 am to 1 pm.

The Annecy lake festival :
The concept : A pyrotechnic show preceded by a drone prologue to close a week of festivities. This year, the town of Annecy has chosen the Histoire d’eaux artistic project, led by the Franco-Italian companies Arts et Feux and Pyroemotions. This edition is committed to ecological responsibility with numerous actions in favour of the environment. A space for people with reduced mobility is planned.

Visit castles :
The concept: Discover or (re)discover the historical and cultural heritage of the Annecy region.
The “Palais de l’Isle” :
A former dungeon and centre for the interpretation of architecture and heritage, this site is located in the city centre and is very easy to access. The visit lasts about 1 hour and there is an entrance fee.

The castle of Clermont : (especially suitable for children)
Throughout the summer, the castle offers activities adapted to a young audience (from 6 years old). For example, you can attend dance, theatre, contemporary or classical music and circus performances. The shows are free at 7pm and chargeable at 9pm.

The Annecy Lake Ecomuseum : (especially suitable for children)
Located 7 minutes by car from the centre of Annecy, this eco-museum allows you to discover the Savoyard traditions of the 19th century (customs, costumes, songs, dances…). If you have children, the museum is well worth a visit. Everything has been thought of so that children can learn and have fun at the same time!
